Tutor Registration - Step 2 of 2
Becoming a PEC tutor is very easy. We provide free online training to all new tutors.
Some Notes for Student Tutors
Selection Criteria
- To tutor Yr 11 & 12 subjects:
- ENTER Score: 90+ (or less than 90, but have obtained outstanding study score 40+ on the subject you want to tutor) or
- You're studying an Education degree
- To tutor Grade 1 - 10 subjects:
- ENTER Score: 80+ (or less than 80, but have obtained outstanding study score 35+ on the subject you want to tutor) or
- You're studying an Education degree or the relevant degree
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Competent computer skills
Additional Requirement
- Be able to commit at least 2 hours per weeks for 6 months
- Committed to attend ongoing training PEC provides: once every six months
- Provide parents with regular feedback on student progress
*All qualified teachers and student tutors are self-employed. Students are only referred to tutor(s) by PEC.
** There is a referral fee for each student referred by PEC. Please ask us for a copy of PEC Tutor Brochure.
